I’m ready when you are

I am an art psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free therapeutic environment to explore challenging life situations, as well as the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that arise from them. Therapy can be intimidating for some, but as part of a team, we will identify goals and work together to achieve transformation through verbal and visual processing.

For me, one of the most rewarding professional experiences is working with people who are ready to make a change and start living the life they desire. Individuals who recognize they are not reaching their full potential and are eager to take action are my ideal clients.

When words alone aren't sufficient or seem difficult to express, we use art to convey what cannot be verbalized. Art therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. This modality is employed in various ways with different populations, and sessions are tailored to help identify and explore concepts that might be constrained or rationalized by words alone.

My background in psychology, combined with my personal experiences, uniquely qualifies me to understand your wants, needs, and potential. Art therapy enables you to see your abstract thoughts and emotions in a more tangible way, facilitating forward movement. My aim is to help you recognize your worth and pursue the path you desire for yourself.

Having worked with families for two decades, I have gained a deep understanding of the dynamics and roles central to family structures. I offer support and guidance for parents struggling with child-rearing, as well as helping children and adolescents navigate the challenges they encounter. My extensive knowledge of child development allows me to assist my younger clients through tough school and social experiences. My expertise ranges from understanding and reinforcing limits and boundaries for preschool-aged children to addressing more complex issues, such as peer relationships, bullying, and social and behavioral difficulties common in older children.
